Manager, Macroeconomics
Your role is:
To be responsible for monitoring and analysing global and domestic macroeconomic trends and providing views to management and for input into SC and national policy formulation
You will be accountable for:
- Designing and maintaining macroeconomic publications
- Building and maintaining macroeconomic models to forecast trends in Malaysian and international economies
- Publications as well as management updates
- Managing and maintaining stakeholder relations with domestic and international macroeconomic agencies
- Managing and delivering on various departmental and cross-functional projects
You should have:
- A strong first degree in economics, finance or related subjects; a qualification as a Chartered Financial Analyst or a post-graduate degree would be an advantage
- At least six (6) years’ working experience, preferably in consulting or securities analysis
- Knowledge in quantitative or econometric tools and application
- Strong oral and written communication skills
