Application Analyst

Your role is:

To plan, analyse and design effective and efficient application systems to support the SC’s business functions and lead development and implementation of the systems

You are accountable for:

• Recommending solutions for technical issues that arise during a project development/implementation
• Recommending effective application/database designs that comply with security and industry standards

You should have:

• A strong first degree in Computer Science or its equivalent
• At least 2 years’ systems development and design experience including using VB.NET, ASP.NET, .NET Framework and XML with working knowledge in SQL Server 2000 or Sybase database, Unix and Windows 2000/XP/NT; some experience in developing Lotus Notes applications will be an added advantage
• A good understanding of object oriented programming methodology and concept, be well versed in at least one widely accepted systems development methodology and have knowledge in N-tier Application Design & Development and Relational Databases
• Strong analytical, problem solving, oral and written communication skills
• Strong teamwork and collaborative skills
