Project Manager, Regulatory Services (Advisory & Reform)
Your role is:
To drive and lead-manage projects for the formulation and review of capital market laws and the formulation of the policy, legal and regulatory framework
You will be accountable for:
- Formulating regulatory policy, action plans, drafting legislation and policy papers, evaluating regulatory impact of deliverables and conducting research
- Facilitating Parliamentary processes and ensuring gazetting and coming into force of legislation
- Driving communication and awareness arising out of the law reform process and providing post-implementation support where required to internal and external stakeholders
- Providing policy advice on regulatory framework on both primary and secondary market issues
You should have:
- A strong first degree in law; a postgraduate qualification such as Masters in Law or MBA will be an advantage
- At least six (6) years’ working experience in the field of law or finance
- A strong interest in policy and regulatory issues and be able to demonstrate current knowledge of developments in the international and local capital markets
- Strong oral and written communication skills
