Senior Associate, Regulatory Services (Primary Market)
Your role is:
To formulate, review and monitor policies, guidelines and rules on issue/offer/listing of securities with the objective of establishing and sustaining a sound regulatory framework for fund-raising and listing of companies and securities in Malaysia
You will be accountable for:
- Conducting research and analysis of issues and benchmarking of policies and regulation for the primary market for securities
- Drafting guidelines on issue, offer and listing of securities and preparing related recommendation papers, presentations and press releases
- Assisting in the roll-out of policies and guidelines and providing post-implementation support to internal and external customers
- Reviewing and making recommendations on proposals to amend the listing rules of the stock exchange
You should have:
- A strong first degree in accounting, finance, business administration or law or equivalent professional qualification; and an MBA will be an advantage
- At least four (4) years’ post-qualifying working experience, including at least tow (2) years direct working experience in corporate finance or advisory
- Good overall knowledge of the securities market and the relevant legislation, rules and guidelines governing corporate proposals and issue, offer and listing of securities
- Strong oral and written communication skills
