Principal, Market Development

Your role is:

To lead a professional team to initiate or facilitate the introduction of new markets, products and services in the capital market

You will be accountable for:

• Analysing issues, conducting regulatory impact assessment, coordinating, evaluating and managing team contribution and recommending the appropriate policy and regulatory frameworks
• Coordinating the implementation plans with relevant internal and external stakeholders including execution, communication and awareness, as well as to provide post implementation support (where required) to relevant parties
• Engaging with relevant key capital market stakeholders
• Examining and evaluating industry proposals and its broader impact on capital market development, and formulating, designing and recommending appropriate regulatory response
• Assisting in planning and directing the management of team resources and capability needs of team members through coaching and mentoring, career path planning and training

You should have:

• A strong first degree in law, finance, accounting, economics or equivalent professional qualification
• At least six (6) years’ working experience with sound understanding of capital markets and including a minimum of one (1) year of managerial experience
• Strong analytical thinking, good inter-personal skills and project management skills
• Strong oral and written communication skills
