Senior Analyst, Investment Management Supervision
Your role is:
To gather information relevant to the assessment of conduct of large and medium-sized Asset Management Companies (AMCs) and Unit Trust Management Companies (UTMCs), undertake review of reports obtained from various sources, undertake analysis of large and medium-sized AMCs and UTMCs and assist in formulating policies and guidelines to enhance supervision of AMCs and UTMCs
You will be accountable for:
- Carrying out supervision and monitoring of AMCs and UTMCs through identifying potential risk areas of medium-size companies and making recommendations on action steps to deal with potential risk areas
- Organizing or assisting in the dialogues and discussions with industry participant
- Assisting management in enhancing the level of compliance and institution of best practices of conduct at intermediary level
You should have:
- A strong first degree in accounting, finance, business or other relevant qualification.
- At least four (4) years’ audit experience at regulatory authority, financial institution, accounting firm or capital market intermediary and experience in investment management industry will be an added advantage
- Strong analytical skills and able to think critically and work independently
- Strong oral and written communication skills
