Senior Manager, Securities Issues
Your role is:
To assess , evaluate and supervise the evaluation of equity-based corporate proposals submitted under section 212 of the Capital Markets & Services Act 2007, and monitor compliance with the securities laws, regulations and guidelines relating to issues, offers and listing of securities
You will be accountable for:
- Dealing with and recommending appropriate decisions on the offer and listing of equity and equity-linked securities pursuant to section 212 of the Capital Markets & Services Act 2007
- Monitoring compliance with the terms and conditions of approval for corporate proposals
- Recommending appropriate actions for non-compliance with securities laws, regulations, guidelines and requirements in relation to corporate proposal applications
- Other allocated duties and tasks, including ongoing formulation, review and implementation of department systems, processes and procedures relating to the evaluation of corporate proposals and compliance monitoring
You should have:
- A strong first degree in finance, accounting, economics, business administration or equivalent professional qualification; and a post-graduate degree will be an advantage
- At least six (6) years’ working experience in legal, corporate finance, banking or audit, including five (5) years’ direct experience in corporate finance or the capital market
- Strong analytical and presentation skills
- Strong oral and written communication skills
