The CPE programme will involve several parties – the SIDC and Licensing Department of the SC, the exchange, participating organisations, and licensed persons.

  • SIDC is responsible for the general CPE framework and works with the CPE Working Committee to select and approve courses, CPE providers as well as ensure quality control through an internal monitoring system.
  • The Licensing Department provides input on licensing requirements and verifies CPE points for licence renewals.
  • Exchange is responsible for developing course specifics, organising CPE courses and identifying CPE training providers.
  • Participating organisations are given the task of determining the training needs of licensed persons, monitoring their CPE attendance and providing the representatives with attestation for licence renewal.
  • licensed persons are free to select courses that match their own professional development needs. They are required to:
    • determine their own training needs;
    • attend CPE courses; and
    • obtain CPE points for licence renewal.
