Senior Manager, Macroeconomics

Your role is:

To be responsible for monitoring and analysing global and domestic macroeconomic trends and providing views to management and for input into SC and national policy formulation

You will be accountable for:

  • Designing and maintaining macroeconomic publications
  • Building and maintaining macroeconomic models to forecast trends in Malaysian and international economies
  • Publications as well as management updates
  • Managing and maintaining stakeholder relations with domestic and international macroeconomic agencies
  • Managing and delivering on various departmental and cross-functional projects

You should have:

  • A strong first degree in economics, finance or related subjects; a qualification as a Chartered Financial Analyst or a post-graduate degree would be an advantage
  • At least six (6) years’ working experience, preferably in consulting or securities analysis
  • Knowledge in quantitative or econometric tools and application
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
