Assistant Manager/Manager

Your role is:

To provide in-depth analysis and projections for the Malaysian economy and analysis and recommendations to support policy formulation at the SC

You will be accountable for:

• Developing economic models of Malaysian economy and the capital market
• Conducting in-depth studies on pertinent macroeconomic and microeconomic issues
• Overseeing production of regular reports on the Malaysian economy
• Making policy recommendations from an economic perspective

You should have:

• A strong first degree or postgraduate degree in economics
• At least four (4) years’ experience in the practical application of economic analysis, econometrics and other quantitative tools in policy analysis, either in the private or as a government economist
• The ability to work in a team and possess independent thinking
• Knowledge in quantitative or econometric tools and application
• Strong oral and written communication skills
