Assistant General Manager, Investor Education
Your role is:
To manage Investor Education functions, programmes and activities with the objective of promoting and developing an informed and proactive investor community through educational measures, to fulfil SC’s mandate to protect investors and maintain market confidence
You will be accountable for:
- Supporting in the formulation of SC’s broad direction, strategy and objectives and specific programmes for educating investors
- Closely monitoring and analysing the market to identify current and future investor education, training and information needs
- Formulating and directing the implementation of short, medium and long-term strategies relating to investor education
- Providing advice and being responsible for proactive and reactive actions required to manage issues, feedback and inquiries from investors
- Developing and proposing initiatives and modalities to respond to specific market issues
- Developing content, publication and dissemination of appropriate investor education materials
You should have:
- A strong first degree in law, business or finance; a post-graduate degree will be an advantage
- At least eight (8) years’ working experience with at least three (3) years in a managerial role
- Knowledge of capital market regulation and risks and returns of investment products, and inclination towards a developmental role
- Ability to work independently and is proactive
- Strong oral and written communication skills
