Assistant Manager/Manager, Regulatory Services (Advisory & Reform)

Your role is:

To assist in policy review and formulation involving specific regulatory issues as well as to provide advice or assist in the provision of advice on specific areas involving regulatory framework

You will be accountable for:

• Conducting strategic research and providing analysis of issue through benchmarking, assisting in regulatory impact assessments on specific regulatory issues e.g. CMSA, AMLA, Labuan
• Providing advice or assist the head of department in providing advice on the legal and regulatory framework on specific areas mentioned above
• Drafting or assist in drafting opinions, responses and policy statement on specific regulatory issues above

You should have:

• A strong first degree in law; and a postgraduate qualification such as Masters in Law or MBA will be an advantage
• At least four (4) years’ working experience in the field of law or finance
• Strong interest in policy and regulatory issues and can demonstrate current knowledge of developments in the international and local capital market
• Strong oral and written communication skills
