Senior Manager (Financial Research), Strategy & Research

Your role is:

To maintain an overview, lead projects and undertake research in taxation and corporate finance in relation to providing analytical input for strategy formulation to strengthen the efficiency and competitive positioning of the Malaysian capital market

You will be accountable for:

• Leading formulation of recommendations on policy and represent SC on external discussions on taxation issues relating to the capital market
• Undertaking research for strategic analysis on issues relating to corporate finance
• Undertaking and assisting in coordinating the preparation of responses to ad hoc requests for information and comments
• Participating in a broad range of capital market projects as part of cross-departmental teams or industry collaboration

You should have:

• A strong first degree in accounting, finance or other related professional qualifications; and a n MBA will be an added advantage
• At least six (6) years’ related working experience in accounting or taxation
• An aptitude for research with strong presentation and analytical skills
• Strong oral and written communication skills
