Assistant Manager/Manager, Investment Management Supervision

Your role is:

To conduct routine and ad-hoc on-site examinations of medium and small-sized and more significant areas of identified Asset Management Companies (AMCs) and Unit Trust Management Companies (UTMCs) and assist in formulating policies and guidelines to enhance supervision of AMCs and UTMCs

You will be accountable for:

• Leading on-site examinations of medium and small-size AMCs and UTMCs including identify the direction and thrust of the examination, determine allocation of staff and tasks
• Assisting management in enhancing the level of compliance and institution of best practices of conduct at intermediary level

You should have:

• A strong first degree in accounting, finance, business or other relevant qualification
• At least four (4) years’ audit experience at regulatory authority, financial institution, accounting firm or capital market intermediary, and experience in investment management industry will be an added advantage
• Strong analytical skills and able to think critically and work independently
• Strong oral and written communication skills
