Assistant Manager/Manager, Securities Issues
Your role is:
To deal with and evaluate equity-based corporate proposals submitted under section 212 of the Capital Markets & Services Act 2007, and to monitor and verify compliance with conditions of approval and take appropriate actions in instances of non-compliance
You will be accountable for:
- Evaluating corporate proposals
- Monitoring compliance with laws, regulations, guidelines and conditions of approval
- Assisting in formulation and review of systems, processes and procedures relating to processing of corporate proposals and compliance monitoring
- Providing feedback and comments on the SC’s guidelines
You should have:
- A strong first degree in business administration, accounting, finance, economics, law or commerce or other relevant qualification.
- At least four (4) years’ experience in corporate finance, legal, accounting or capital market
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong oral and written communication skills
