Assistant Manager/Manager, Market Surveillance
Your role is:
To organise and carry out appropriate surveillance and monitoring activities of equity and derivatives markets towards ensuring fair and order market
You will be accountable for:
- Conducting real-time surveillance and information gathering on share price/volume movements, indices, market trading behaviour and other related matters
- Carrying out trend analysis in establishing price/volume patterns and benchmark criteria for alerts
- Performing analysis on trading activities of market participants, determine any unusual trading activities to ascertain any potential breach of securities law, highlighting irregularities and give appropriate recommendation/action
- Determining issues to be raised during fact-finding activities and detecting regulatory offences swiftly
- Managing, tracking and implementing development projects/proposals
You should have:
- A strong first degree in finance, accounting, economics, business administrations or equivalent professional qualification; a post-graduate degree will be an advantage
- At least four (4) years’ working experience including exposure to the securities or equity market or related industry
- Strong analytical and presentation skills
- Strong oral and written communication skills
