Assistant Manager/Manager, Capital Market Promotions

Your role is:

To assist in the implementation of the overall international marketing strategy by developing and maintaining comprehensive message toolkit, and crafting key messages that highlights the strengths of the Malaysian capital market and address concerns of international stakeholders

You will be accountable for:

  • Undertaking research and monitoring international news sources for perception of the Malaysian capital market.  Keeping abreast with international perception about Malaysia's capital market vis-a-vis other jurisdictions
  • Being the focal point and maintain close contacts with relevant regulators (BNM, MIFC, Bursa, LOFSA, etc.), government agencies (PM's Office, MOF, Wisma Putra, MITI, Matrade, etc.), industry and international stakeholders
  • Developing and preparing message toolkit - FAQs, presentation materials, marketing brochures, etc. - for dissemination to international stakeholders.  Procatively update message tool kit
  • Compiling and updating calendar of international road shows, events and in-country visits relating to the capital market
  • Keeping abreast with marketing and promotional activities carried out by other jurisdictions
  • Following-up on action items, feedback/comments obtained during the promotional activities
  • Undertaking function as Secretariat to the Committee on International Communications for the Capital Market and any other key relevant committees

You should have:

  • A strong first degree in any discipline
  • At least four (4) years’ experience, preferably in public relations-type work
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Good interpersonal and analytical skills
