Senior Associate, Takeovers & Mergers

Your role is:

To undertake developmental and policy work in relation to section 33 & 34 of the SCA and The Malaysian Code of Take-Overs and Mergers

You will be accountable for:

• Undertaking revision of the provisions of the Malaysian Code on Take-overs and Mergers, 1988 (Code) and Practice Notes through the necessary consultation with relevant groups
• Undertaking continous overview of the provision of the Act and the Code relating to take-overs, mergers and compulsory acquisitions
• Educating the public on the rules and regulations relating to take-over matters which includes giving presentations and writing speeches for conference
• Undertaking special project on ad-hoc basis

You should have:

• A strong first degree in finance, accounting, economics, business administration, economics, law or other relevant qualification
• At least four (4) years’ experience in corporate finance, legal, accounting or capital market
• Strong analytical skills and able to think critically and work independently 
• Strong oral and written communication skills
