Assistant Manager/Manager (Market Abuses), Market Surveillance

Your role is:

To organise and carry out appropriate analysis and preliminary investigation on cases/enquiries/complaints pertaining to market abuses

You will be accountable for:

  • Conducting analysis and information gathering on share price/volume movements, indices, market trading behaviour and other related matters
  • Performing analysis and preliminary investigation on trading activities/pattern of market participants, establish hypothesis of a case, determine any unusual trading activities and give appropriate recommendation/action
  • Determining issues to be raised during fact-finding activities and detecting regulatory offences swiftly
  • Managing, tracking and implementing development projects/proposals

You should have:

  • A strong first degree in finance, accounting, economics, business administrations or equivalent professional qualification; a post-graduate degree will be an advantage
  • At least four (4) years’ working experience including exposure to the securities or equity market or related industry
  • Strong analytical and presentation skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
