Senior Manager, Complaints

Your role is:

Effective and efficient handling of complex complaints and enquiries on possible breaches of securities laws or other market misconduct for purpose of verifying the merit of cases and determining the best course of action for each case

You are accountable for:

Complaints/Enquiries Handling & Front-line

• Manage the complaints/enquiry functions and supervise the effective and efficient handling of all enquiries and complaints on possible breaches of securities laws and regulations in fulfilling department objectives

Complaints Review and Management

• Implementation of sound and effective complaints & enquiries management strategies and contribute to reputation management strategies in SC
  
• Identify any gaps or concerns that need to feed into IA's investor awareness initiatives or line/management consideration or action
  
• Implementing strategies and programmes to enhance IA's investor affairs initiatives
  
• Handle complex complaints  and enquiries received and strategise action plans for dealing with such complex complaints/enquiries
  
• Supervise the maintenance of the centralised database on all complaints and ensure effective channelling of relevant information to SC's management and operations
  
• Supervising and providing guidance to the officers in the review of all preliminary examination findings and proposed recommendations
  
• Provide input on strategies for enforcement option and processes
  
• Supervision of department's administrative matters
  
• Represent department in inter-departmental projects
  
• Provide input in developing investor affairs related projects and public campaigns/forum on specific issues
  
• Ensure training and development needs and provide ongoing guidance and motivation to subordinates

Special assignments

• Assist Head in any specific projects or tasks

You should have:

• Degree in Law/Finance/Accounting/Economics with a minimum of 4 year's experience in securities industry
  
• Audit and investigative experience would be an added advantage
  
• In-depth understanding of capital market
  
• In-depth understanding of securities and related laws
