The SECURITIES COMMISSION MALAYSIA (SC) is a statutory body set up to regulate and develop the Malaysian capital market. Our vision is to develop a quality, vibrant capital market with enhanced focus on gate keeping, supervision and enforcement, within a strong regulatory framework.

The Malaysian capital market today is valued at over RM2.04 trillion, reflecting its significant role in Malaysia's economy. Our capital market is characterised by a world-class regulatory framework, benchmarked for efficiency and effectiveness.

In support of the Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE), local universities and Malaysian students worldwide, the SC offers the Capital Market Placement Programme. This forms part of our efforts to nurture and develop Malaysia's human capital and is designed specifically for those requiring practical training as part of their course.

	We invite universities to nominate Malaysian students who: possess excellent academic track records of at least second class upper or 3.5 CGPA speak and write well in English and Bahasa Malaysia have very good interpersonal skills At the end of the programme, students will showcase their work and internship experience to their supervisors and managerial representatives, and the universities will receive a detailed progress report from the SC.   If you are a Malaysian student interested in a placement, please click here to make your online application.
