Association of Sustainability Professionals

The Association of Sustainability Professionals (ASP) is incubated by the Securities Commission Malaysia and part of the sustainability priorities within the Capital Market Masterplan 2026 – 2030 to create a robust sustainable finance ecosystem.

ASP aims to be the professional authority for sustainability professionals and develop a strong community by building competencies, improving standards, sharing knowledge and leading sustainable practices.

By joining ASP, you become part of a growing professional community dedicated to advancing sustainability practice, capabilities, and leadership in Malaysia.

The Association is intended to serve a broad community of professionals whose roles contribute to sustainability outcomes, not only those working in dedicated sustainability functions or departments.

The objectives of ASP are:

To serve as a national community of sustainability professionals

To promote professionalism, ethics and excellence, while building future-ready sustainability competencies

To act as a collective voice and sounding board to advocate for sustainability professionals
