Your role is:

To review, analyse and recommend proposals and initiatives in relation to the Islamic capital market (ICM) and supervise the processing of Shariah-approved securities and registration of Shariah advisers

You will be accountable for:

  • Coordinating and supervising review of PLC audited annual reports and other relevant financial information as well as pre-IPO companies for Shariah-compliant purposes
  • Assisting in research on capital market instruments and issues including ICM database development
  • Reviewing Islamic bonds or Sukuk submissions
  • Supervising registration of Shariah advisers

You should have:

  • A strong first degree in law, finance, accounting, economics or equivalent professional qualification
  • At least four (4) years’ working experience with relatively strong knowledge and understanding of ICM
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
