Your role is to:

To review, evaluate and monitor compliance of valuation reports and valuation certificates with relevant standards and guidelines to ensure compliance and adequate disclosure of information

You accountabilities will be to:

  • Evaluate and review disclosures in valuation certificates and relevant sections of the prospectus for adequacy and meaningful disclosures and compliance with related guidelines
  • Evaluate and review property valuations for compliance with the Asset Valuation Guidelines and other applicable valuation standards
  • Highlight issues pertaining to non compliance, propose conditions of approval and appropriate action on valuers and advisers to ensure compliance for investor protection
  • Engage with valuers and advisers to promote understanding and compliance with securities laws, regulations and guidelines for higher standard of professionalism
  • Provide input and assist in the formulation of legislation, policy statements and rules to promote efficiency and to strengthen gate-keepin

You should have:

  • A strong first degree in property valuation or estate management or other relevant qualification
  • At least four (4) years’ experience in property valuation and preferably registered with the Board of Valuers, Appraisers and Estate Agents Malaysia
  • Knowledge and skills in valuation standards and property market
  • Analytical skills and able to think critically and work independently

  • Strong oral and written communication skills
