The Securities Commission Malaysia (SC) provides hands-on exposure and responsibilities for our interns who take away invaluable practical experiences in capital market regulations and a network of new friends and colleagues.The Internship ExperienceThe SC Internship Programme is popular and highly competitive. Acceptance standards are rigorous and the optimal period to intern is three months (minimum period is two months). Interns will be attached to a department of their preference and relevant to their course, skills and experience. Interns will assist the SC officers under their supervisor’s guidance on research, drafting work, analysis work and operational duties. At the end of the internship, the interns will be required to showcase their work and internship experience to their supervisor and managerial representatives. Interns will receive a comprehensive performance feedback. Academic requirements:
- Currently a penultimate or a final year student pursuing a relevant undergraduate degree to the capital market in a top university locally or abroad
- An academic track record with a minimum of Second Class Upper Honours (2.1) or CGPA 3.0 or equivalent
- Excellent verbal and written proficiency in English and Bahasa Melayu
- Possess very good interpersonal skills
