The Model Regulator Programme

The Securities Commission Malaysia (SC) offers a comprehensive two-year programme for fresh graduates who are looking for sustainable professional development and the golden opportunity to make tangible contributions to the economic stability of Malaysia and have a positive impact on investors. The Model Regulator Programme (MORE@SC) is the optimal platform to gain practical experience in different aspects of the capital market and grow the necessary technical skills, competencies, and management and leadership abilities to become a model regulator. It aims to become one of the top graduate programmes in Malaysia and make capital market regulation the career of choice.

The Ideal Starting Point for A Rewarding Career In The Malaysian Capital Market

As a Model Regulator, benefit from a holistic understanding of the SC’s regulatory functions and mandate by undergoing four rotations to different departments for a duration of six months each. You will face intellectually stimulating challenges and be inspired to develop your technical knowledge, leadership values and interpersonal skills through exciting, hands-on experiences. Just as the SC prides itself on educating investors, it provides staff with a similar facilitative environment, with a long-standing culture of generous staff development through mentoring sessions by the SC’s talent pool, as well as the availability of courses and professional qualifications. The SC’s emphasis on corporate social responsibility and investor outreach also provides abundant opportunities for taking on cross-functional roles, giving you invaluable experience.  At the end of the programme, you will be absorbed permanently into a department as a Senior Executive.

If you have consistently maintained an excellent academic standing, and are equally accomplished in extra-curricular activities and partial to volunteering for environmental, humanitarian and social causes, we look forward to welcoming you into the SC’s circle of dynamic individuals whose innovation and enterprise contribute to a progressive and vibrant Malaysian economy.
