Raymond Tang Chee Kin is a founding director of SIDREC. He is currently the Chief Executive Officer and a member of the Board of Directors of Eastspring Investments Berhad (“EIB”) effective from April 2016. He has over 30 years of experience in the asset management business, managing both institutional and unit trust funds. Prior to joining EIB, he was the Head, International & Institutional Business of CIMB-Principal Asset Management Berhad. Currently, Raymond is also the Chairman of Malaysian Association of Asset Managers (“MAAM”) and Chairman of FTSE Bursa Malaysia Index Advisory Committee. He is also an invitee in the Executive Committee of Malaysia International Islamic Financial Centre (“MIFC”) and Market Participants Committee of Bursa Malaysia. Raymond is also a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants of England and he holds a Capital Markets Services Representative’s License for fund management under CMSA.

Donald has been a Director of Aberdeen Asset Management Asia Ltd since joining the company in Singapore in March 2007. He started his career in London at Nomura (1983-1987) before moving on to JPMorgan (1987-2001), Bank of America (2001-2004) and JPMorgan Asset Management (2004-2007). He has almost 30 years’ experience in fixed income markets and has lived in Asia for over 15 years. Donald holds a BA (Hons) in PPE from Trinity College Oxford.

Rex Auyeung is Chairman – Asia of the Principal Financial Group and he is based in Hong Kong. Auyeung has worked in the insurance industry in Canada and Hong Kong for over 35 years and joined Principal International, Inc. in 1994. He represents the Principal Financial Group and its member companies across Asia, building and expanding the company’s relationship with clients, joint venture partners and strategic investors, and assisting with business development across all product lines of The Principal. In addition, he is responsible for the overall Principal International business in markets including India, China, Hong Kong, Malaysia and other subsidiaries of our Malaysian company in Singapore, Indonesia and Thailand. Auyeung entered the insurance industry in 1977 with Aetna Canada and worked in many areas, including actuarial reporting, marketing and underwriting. In 1990, he provided leadership to the group insurance operation as Director of Group Underwriting, overseeing all underwriting aspects including the sales and profit targets. In 1993 he returned to Hong Kong as Vice President, Group Insurance for American International Assurance, responsible for group operations in Southeast Asia. Auyeung is the Co-Chairman of the Corporate & Employee Contribution Programme (CECP) Organising Committee and a member of Campaign Committee and the Investment Sub-committee of the Community Chest of Hong Kong. He is a member of the Public Affairs Forum of the Home Affairs Bureau HK SAR Government. He is Chairman of the Council of Lingnan University. He is Chairman of Hong Kong Strategy for Financial Literacy Sub-committee on Stakeholder Coordination and Collaboration. He is also a member of Hong Kong Strategy for Financial Literacy Steering Committee. He has been awarded an Honorary Fellowship at City University of Hong Kong. He is a member of the Court of City University of Hong Kong. He is a member of CIMB’s International Advisory Panel in Malaysia. He was a full member of the Public Shareholders Group and a member of the Committee on Investment-Linked Assurance and Pooled Retirement Funds of the Securities and Futures Commission Hong Kong from 2000 to 2007 and from 1999 to 2006 respectively. From January 2007 to December 2012, he was a Council member of the City University of Hong Kong, a member of the City University Finance Committee and Trustee Committee and also the Chairman of the Investment Sub-Committee of City University of Hong Kong. He was a member of the Corporate Advisory Board for the Finance Department of the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology from January 2011 to December 2012. He was an Independent Non-Council Member of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University Investment Committee from December 2012 to November 2014. He was appointed a member of the Mandatory Provident Fund (MPF) Office Specialist Group, advising the office on the implementation of MPF, and was the Deputy Chairman of the Retirement Scheme Sub-committee of the Life Insurance Council of the Hong Kong Federation of Insurers. A Hong Kong native, Auyeung is a graduate of Ying Wa College, Hong Kong and University of Waterloo, Canada, where he earned a BES majoring in Urban and Regional Planning in 1977. Mark joined EY’s Asia-Pacific Wealth & Asset Management practice in 2014 from SunGard where his roles included running the regional Asset Management business & global alternatives strategy. He started his career in financial technology spinning a business out of the London Business School in ‘94 and later raising VC and exiting. Mark has over 20 years’ experience in the Wealth & Asset Management industry with the majority of his time focused on Asia Pacific markets. He has worked across the breadth of the buyside including detailed projects on strategy, operating model, products, alternatives, derivatives & risk. Clients helped by Mark include asset managers, asset servicing firms, wealth managers, private banks, hedge funds, PE funds, SWFs and family offices. Mark has worked in all the major financial centres in the world and has lived in Singapore for the last decade. Mark has a BA & MA from Oxford University.
