Your role is:

  • Analyse and evaluate proposals for compliance with National Development Policy (NDP) requirements under the Foreign Investment Committee (FIC) Guidelines
  • Undertake follow-up on the compliance with conditions of approval.

You will be accountable for:

  • Analysing and processing corporate proposals in accordance to FIC Guidelines
  • Ensuring accuracy of information and providing appropriate and consistent recommendation
  • Liaising with FIC, Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI) or other relevant Ministries/government agencies on policy issues pertaining to achieving the Bumiputera agenda
  • Liaising with corporate advisers and attending to public enquiries relating to submissions made under FIC Guidelines
  • Conducting timely follow-up on compliance with conditions of approval
  • Attending to other matters, including preparing reports, updating database and other special assignments, as and when required

You should have:

  • A strong first degree in finance, accounting, economics, business administration, economics, law or other relevant qualification
  • At least two (2) years’ experience in corporate finance, legal, accounting or capital market
  • Strong analytical skills and able to think critically and work independently
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
