Your role is:

To strategise, plan and carry out investigations involving suspected breaches of the securities and futures laws

 

You will be accountable for:

  • Strategising and conducting complex investigations involving suspected breaches of the securities and futures laws
  • Assessing evidence obtained in the course of the investigation and recommending appropriate civil, criminal and administrative enforcement actions
  • Providing support for criminal prosecution and civil action undertaken by the SC, including testifying in court
  • Providing guidance to investigators on the conduct of investigations

 You should have:

  • A strong first degree in law, finance or accounting or equivalent professional qualification
  • At least six (6) years’ working experience in audit, investigation or the financial services industry
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent analytical skills and critical thinking, ability to work in a team and willingness to travel
  • Sound understanding of financial reporting, financial analysis or securities trading (will be an added advantage)
