Draft Guidelines on Contents of Prospectus on SC homepage

Kuala Lumpur, 9 June 2000

The Prospectus Guidelines of the Securities Commission (SC) which is presently in draft form, pending the imminent coming into force of the Securities Commission (Amendment) Act 2000, will be available on the SC homepage tomorrow (10 June 2000). The draft guidelines can be found in the Publications section of the SC homepage, www.sc.com.my.

These Guidelines are for public offerings, abridged and supplementary prospectuses.

The SC had on 26 May 2000 announced in a press release that the Guidelines would be made available in due course.
