Nationwide Roadshow on Smart Stock Market Investing

Kuala Lumpur, 7 November 2006

Retail investors across the country can expect to improve their stock market investment knowledge by attending a nationwide roadshow that begins on 11 November 2006.

The roadshow, jointly organized by the Securities Commission (SC) and Bursa Malaysia Berhad (Bursa Malaysia), aims to promote retail investors’ knowledge and confidence in stock market investment.

It will feature a presentation by the SC on shareholders’ rights and responsibilities. Bursa Malaysia and major research houses will also provide investors with up-to-date sectoral review and analysis of key stock market sectors and investment ideas.

The roadshow will be held at eight major cities in Malaysia over a period of two months. The dates and venues of the roadshow are as follows:-
