SC invites public feedback on implementation of Corporate Governance Blueprint
31 March 2014   |   Kuala Lumpur
The Securities Commission Malaysia (SC) today released an Interim Progress Survey (Survey) to gather market opinion and perception on some of the corporate governance efforts and initiatives implemented under the Corporate Governance Blueprint (CG Blueprint).

The CG Blueprint, launched in 2011, is part of SC’s strategic initiatives to enhance the standards of corporate governance in Malaysia. It is currently mid-way through its implementation period (2011-2015) with majority of the recommendations incorporated through the Malaysian Code on Corporate Governance (MCCG) 2012 and amendments to the Listing Requirements.

The findings from this Survey will be reviewed together with other complementary research work to identify areas which may require greater attention or focus as Malaysia moves towards inculcating better corporate governance culture amongst market participants.

The Survey is available here. Interested parties and the public are welcome to submit their feedback before the closing date of 30 April 2014.

Enquiries on the Survey can be e-mailed to [email protected] or via telephone at 03-6204 8963/8601.
