The Securities Industry Development Centre (SIDC), the education and training arm of the Securities Commission (SC), launched an essay competition themed "My Investment Experience" that will commence 1 June 2006. Investors are invited to share their personal experiences in investing in the Malaysian capital market and stand to win attractive cash prizes ranging between RM2000 to RM200 each.

The essay competition is open to all Malaysians aged 18 and above, and the closing date for the competition is 15 July 2006. Each entry must be the writer’s personal experience in trading in the stock market, investing in capital market products or schemes, or other investment-related matters.
