Introduction
Under the Capital Markets and Services Act 2007 (CMSA), any person carrying on a business in any regulated activity must be appropriately licensed or registered by the SC. Corporations intending to undertake fund management activities in relation to venture capital (VC) or private equity (PE) funds must register under the Guidelines on the Registration of Venture Capital and Private Equity Corporations and Management Corporations (Guidelines).

More information on the VC/PE registration, including the Guidelines above and relevant documents, is available here.
Applicants are required to submit applicable forms, alongside the necessary supporting documentation, via the Electronic Application System (EASy). Click here for the forms relating to the registration of venture capital / private equity firms (See section L : Registration Forms)
