Capital Market in Malaysia: Past, Present and Future

The Securities Commission Malaysia (SC) has published a new book “Capital Market in Malaysia: Past, Present and Future”. The 420-page book, released in conjunction with SC’s 30th anniversary, was launched by HRH the Sultan of Perak on 7 March 2024.

Due to popular demand, the printed version of the book is now available for sale, on first-come, first-served basis. The retail prices are as below:
  • Hardcover edition – RM215 per book.
  • Softcover/Paperback edition – RM115 per book.

Please be advised that the price includes delivery charges stated for West Malaysia. All book prices are exempted from the SST.
  • The delivery within the Klang Valley will take 3 to 5 days.
  • For delivery to East Malaysia, the rates will be around RM15 to RM30 depending on the additional weight from the number of unit’s order.

Payment for the book can be made via the SC’s electronic payment hub e-Path link here: (https://path.sc.com.my/).

As a quick guide, please see below:

  1. Please log into your account or register your details on the e-Path channel at https://path.sc.com.my/register.php before placing your order or making payment.
  2. Click ‘Others’ and enter ‘SC30 Book Hardcover or Softcover’ in the ‘Remark’ box.
  3. Once payment has been made, an invoice and Fees/Other Statements (FOS sample attached) will be generated including a transaction history to view your purchase.
  4. The invoice includes the following details:
    • Name of purchaser and/or company
    • Type of book (hardcover or softcover)
    • Amount paid

  1. The SC’s bank account number will be stated at the bottom of the invoice and Fees/Other Statements.
  2. Receipt of payment will be shared once the payment transaction is completed.
