An Initial Public Offering(IPO) Prospectus - What Every Smart Investor Should Know

Securities Commission released an educational booklet, "An Initial Public Offering (IPO) Prospectus - What Every Smart Investor Should Know" free-of-charge to the general public.

Published in Bahasa Malaysia and English, this publication by the Securities Commission is intended to help the general public make the best use of the IPO Prospectus. The publication would serve as a guide to investors on what to look for in IPO prospectuses, and thus assist them in making well-informed investment decisions.

The 24-page booklet covers a wide range of topics such as what is a prospectus, why you must read the prospectus, what a prospectus contains and how to use the prospectus.

The contents of the booklet can be viewed in the Securities Commission's homepage on the Internet using the address: http//www.sc.com.my. The booklet can also be obtained free-of-charge from the Corporate Affairs Department, Securities Commission.
