Listing of Energro Deferred

Kuala Lumpur, 27 May 2004

The Securities Commission (SC) today requested Bursa Malaysia to defer the listing of Energro Bhd (Energro) until further notice. The SC is investigating into the proposed restructuring scheme of Omega Holdings Bhd (Omega) and has also initiated measures to protect investors’ interest.

Energro was to take over the listing status of Omega under the proposed restructuring scheme.
