The three-year commitment kicks off with the inaugural session in Beijing from 17 to 21 October 2011. It will provide participants a cross-cultural experience into the fast developing Chinese capital market, as well as to share views and develop ties with Chinese government officials and business experts, who will be participating as guest speakers.

The MCFP aims to provide senior management personnel of Malaysian companies, especially those from the financial services industry, with a better understanding of the developments and trends in China’s economy, the securities market and financial system as well as its regulatory framework,” said Tan Sri Zarinah Anwar, SC Chairman at the signing ceremony held at the SC today.
Malaysia Deputy Finance Minister Dato’ Donald Lim Siang Chai witnessed the signing ceremony between Tan Sri Zarinah and Professor Xue Lei, Executive Director of the Executive Development Programme, Tsinghua SEM.
MCFP will be conducted through lectures, interactive discussions and networking sessions. The programme will be jointly taught by professors from Tsinghua University, representatives from the China Securities Regulatory Commission and China Banking Regulatory Commission, officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in China as well senior management from reputable investment banks in China.
