Strengthening capacity building
In recognition of the role played by the SC, IOSCO established its first ever Regional Hub outside its Madrid headquarters in Kuala Lumpur in 2017.

Since its establishment, the IOSCO Asia Pacific Hub has initiated various capacity building initiatives to strengthen the regulatory capabilities and facilitate closer cross-border regulatory cooperation within the region. The Hub also promotes the transfer of knowledge, expertise and best practices from across IOSCO’s wide membership.
