The restitution process is initiated following administrative sanctions imposed against Mohd Faizal Jamaludin (NRIC: 760405-01-5625) who was found to have carried out fund management activity without a licence.

The restitution is pursuant to administrative sanctions imposed against Kahar Mohd Tahir (NRIC. 670215-01-6185) who was found to have carried out fund management activity without a licence.

Following the Securities Commission’s (SC) press release on 10 September 2015 entitled ‘SC to Restitute Victims of Illegal Futures Trading Scheme’ which called for eligible claimants in relation to SC’s suit in the Kuala Lumpur High Court [Suit No. 22NCC-1636-10/2011] against Ahmad Fauzi and 6 others, it is pleased to announce that it is now extending the period for claims to be made.
