The Securities Commission Malaysia (SC) welcomes applications from young aspiring individuals interested to pursue undergraduate studies at renowned universities locally. For this year, the SC will not be offering scholarships for overseas studies.

Requirements for SC scholarship:

  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Active in both co-curricular activities and sports
  • Excellent verbal and written skills in English and Bahasa Melayu
  • Not presently holding other scholarships/loans

    REQUIREMENTS: 

    • For first degree courses at renowned universities/institutions locally
    • · Excellent examination results in any of the following:
      • Minimum 3As and 1B+ in STPM
      • 3As in A-levels
      • 40 points in International Baccalaureate (IB)
      • 3.5 CGPA at Degree (current undergraduate students) / Diploma / Matriculation level.

    • Other: Below 23 years of age

    The SC scholarship covers full academic fees, books, subsistence and other scholarship related allowances. Conditional offers will be provided to successful candidates subject to gaining admission into a renowned institution/university and serving the SC for a stipulated period upon completion of undergraduate education. Upon successful completion of their undergraduate education, scholars will be required to serve their employment bond with the SC (i.e. maximum ratio of one year of study to two years of service at local private institutions and one year of study to one year of service at local public universities).

    Only shortlisted candidates will be notified for further assessments.

    Applications open on 27 May 2024 and close on 9 June 2024*

    *Given past experience, we anticipate that many candidates will attempt to submit their online application documents very close to the submission deadline. To avoid heavy server traffic and potential delays, we require candidates to register by 5 June 2024 (Wednesday) and submit all supporting documents for the scholarship application by 9 June 2024 (Sunday), before 5:00pm.
