Regulatory Settlement with Lim Yi Xian

On 12 January 2026, the SC entered into a settlement agreement with Lim Yi Xian in the sum of RM656,405.60 when he agreed without admission or denial of liability, to settle a claim that the SC was proposing to institute against him for a scheme to defraud and/or act, practice or course of business which operated as a fraud on RHB Asset Management Sdn Bhd between January and September 2016, contrary to section 179(a) and/or section 179(b) of the Capital Markets and Services Act 2007 (“CMSA”).

The settlement was reached following a letter of demand sent by the SC pursuant to its civil enforcement powers under the securities laws. The monies recovered will be applied in accordance with section 200(3) of the CMSA.
