Malaysian ASEAN Business Entity (MyABE) Pilots with Six Companies

Kuala Lumpur, 6 November 2025

Following Prime Minister of Malaysia YAB Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim’s statement on the Malaysian ASEAN Business Entity (MyABE) at the ASEAN Capital Markets Forum (ACMF) International Conference today, the Securities Commission Malaysia (SC) would like to announce the six companies in the first pilot MyABE cohort.

The six companies are:

MyABE-Public listed companies (MyABE-PLCs)
  1. CIMB Group Holdings Berhad
  2. IHH Healthcare Berhad
  3. Kuala Lumpur Kepong Berhad

MyABE- Mid-tier companies (MyABE-MTCs)
  1.  Aonic Sdn Bhd
  2. MECIP Global Engineers Sdn Bhd
  3. NSW Automation Sdn Bhd

The initiative was first announced by Prime Minister Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim in the MADANI Budget 2026. The MyABE-status comprises two categories, MyABE-PLC for public listed companies with established regional operations, and MyABE-MTC for mid-tier companies that demonstrate strong potential for further growth across ASEAN.

SC Chairman Dato’ Mohammad Faiz Azmi said the MyABE status recognises Malaysian champions that are growing beyond borders and creating value across ASEAN.

“Their expansion strengthens regional supply chains and drives growth for the wider region. This pilot will enable us to fine-tune the support needed for more companies to do the same while easing skilled talent movement,” he said.
