The Islamic Capital Market Talent Development (ICMTD) programme (formerly known as the Islamic Capital Market Graduate Training Scheme – ICMGTS) is a capacity building initiative developed by the Securities Commission Malaysia (SC) and run by the Securities Industry Development Corporation (SIDC) since 2009. The ICMTD programme which is funded by the Capital Market Development Fund (CMDF) aims to facilitate the development of human capital for the Islamic Capital Market (ICM). Since its inception, the programme has produced a total of 23 cohorts with 891 participating graduates.

As announced by the Government in June 2020, the ICMTD programme is now included as part of the National Economic Revival Plan (PENJANA), specially designed to help graduates and displaced professionals seeking a career within the ICM. The ICMTD programme industry focused modules are conducted through a wide variety of methodologies which include virtual classrooms, hands-on workshop, business simulation projects, case study discussions, presentations and e-learning. The intensive virtual training includes technical modules, soft skills modules and e-learning modules, anchored on the following 5 building pillars
